I am part of a project for PDMFC’s client, Philip Morris, focused on managing a comprehensive point-of-sales system. This platform enables clients to earn bonuses by achieving sales goals. Our team consists of one Architect, one DevOps engineer, four Fullstack Developers, one Frontend Developer, a Manager, and two Testers. The system integrates with other client systems through APIs, and our technology stack includes PHP 8.2, Laravel 9, Nova Framework, React.js, and MariaDB.

I developed the Sales Department App where the users can add proposals, daily work time management, simulate scenarios to set goals and many graphics to monitor sales. I did it as a full-stack, and the main challenge was the same user can change the context as a Sale Representant to Director. Others can change the Sales rep. from an unit to another unit. It depends how many contexts this user has. So I needed to check the context table to understand the rules and, in case it is a director, who this director can manage. I chose Vue.js 3 to the frontend to guarantee a good performance, and PHP/Laravel 10 in the backend (it was a prerequisite of the company). We had a great implementation with no critical issues, and excellent user reviews about the app.

I was a developer working in a Marketing department. First project was to change the whole website in pure PHP to PHP 8.2 (last version) with Laravel, and for the admin panel I chose the Voyager framework. The server was Windows environment because it was a prerequisite of the company, and DB MySQL. The main challenge was to have an excellent performance in Google Lighthouse, so I tested many technologies such as Memcache and Redis. But In this case, the best option was to generate static files. Our score in Google was around 98% to 100%. Other small apps such as Quiz, Calendars, etc., I did for the team to use as a resource for the marketing campaigns.

The most significant app I did as full-stack was an employee training, where there was an admin panel to CRUD chapters, modules, chapters, questions, answers, videos and other assets. The employees did all the trainment, and the manager had an admin view with filters to see the evolution (PHP / Laravel). Another project was a marketplace where I implemented another payment method (PHP). And a lot of custom websites with admin panels. (PHP, Codeigniter, C#, Umbraco, Python).
